I believe it! I'm already looking 10-15 years in the future; I never want to say goodbye to him! Soaking up every day with him!

When I read, “during our infertility journey, he’s exactly what our little family needed” my eyes filled with tears. While I don’t know what you’ve been through and wouldn’t dare try to act like I do, I’ve been on my fertility journey for 9 years. I became a dog Mom again about 3 years ago. I lost my first pet that I ever had many years ago and it took a toll on me emotionally. I vowed to never ever get another pet again. Then about 3 years ago, my husband fell in love with a pup he had seen and came home to tell me all about this dog with the quote, “red collar.” Long story short… “red collar” finally shows up at our house. My husband asked me, “hunni what will his name be?” I looked him right in his eyes and said “Homeless” 😩 Welp “homeless, red collar” is literally my best friend now 😆 My shadow. My sweet baby in my waiting period and I couldn’t imagine my life without our CAM 🐾♥️ I remember you and I used to talk on Instagram often and I still keep you in my prayers. I’m so happy you have Charlie 🥹🫶🏾

This decision may help you have your very own sooner than later. Also prepare you as a parent in some ways.

Changing your mind doesn’t erase your past—it honors your present.

That line filled me with a big exhale.

Oh my gawd! Such a cutie! Hi, Charlie 😍

I used to think changing my mind often made a flaky too. But I’ve since learned that if something isn’t in alignment, I’m going to change my mind about it.

I agree with everything you said. How great to put into practice this flexibility to make changes as you see appropriate.

I am doing the same. I am also learning not to apologize for making decisions that are right for me in the moment.

I’m making a career change, I don’t know what it will be yet, my current situation is listen to people who have ideas for me but not to take in everyone’s opinions. It’s hard but I am ready to listen to myself more.

This is so sweet. I’ve been wanting to have a cat for a while now, a very specific breed lol. But I haven’t yet? I just tell myself I want to have enough money to take care of it first, I’m barely making it by right now.

I love this so much! Congrats on being a fur mommy and parents! My spirit (my fur baby ) came to me in a similar way. This is beautiful and enjoy this new journey! Charlie will teach you so much about yourself and many life lessons. I know my spirit does. And I love her for that. All your tips were super helpful too! I totally resonated with wearing the not changing my mind badge. It’s exhausting and like you said if limits us. It’s freeing to be able to change our minds and let God’s plan truly unfold in unexpected ways.
