She was right! My internships forced me to figure things out, test ideas without second guessing, and learn more in a week than I could in a semester!! They also taught me resilience! I couldn’t quit just because the work was hard, the results weren’t ideal, or the pay SUCKED (actually, back in my day, we weren’t even getting paid for internships😭) But I showed up every day because I knew that’s how I would level up, period!!

The same applies to our creative journeys! People say you need to treat entrepreneurship like a job: have discipline, be consistent, and get focused! But we’re missing an exciting step! We need to be an intern again! We need to experiment and fail forward without the rigid expectations of a job!

[Certain] Mondays from 11am - 12:30 pm EST: Team Meeting & CoWorker Clock-In! Two 45-minute sprints to work together on projects, brainstorm, and make progress!
